BUKHOSI Chenin Blanc - 2021
Tastingnote Lukas Wiegman, Best Sommelier of the Netherlands 2024-2025
"High intensity nose with ripe quince, yellow apple, white peach and dried white blossom. Slight hint of sourdough and cream indicating some lees ageing and oak. Very well balanced and enticing nose. Also a honeyed note coming through along with a slight toastiness, making this quite complex!
On the palate the wine starts ripe and bold with those ripe fruit flavours, balanced with very refreshing acidity. Elegant, yet powerful. Good concentration of aromatics and a lovely fine slightly grippy long finish. Will be better with some cellaring. All in all a very nice old vine Chenin Blanc. Curious to try more!"
